Cosmos is Falling Asleep (1970)

A talented rocket science student, Pasha aspires to his dream of space. There are many opportunities for him in a big city. But one day a telegram from home ruins all his plans and forces him to return to his native village on the seashore to save his mother and brother, whose house begins to literally sink into the sands.
